How Recurring Revenue is Calculated
There’s no minimum to join, but your referral rate increases based on the number of active referred clients:

Your tier is re-evaluated each quarter based on number of active referred clients. Below 50 active clients, revenue share on a given client ends if that client is inactive for two consecutive quarters. Once you reach 50 active clients, your revenue share continues on all actively collected revenue for the life of your agreement.
Revenue share is calculated on gross recurring revenue, which includes:
- Platform subscription fees
- Per-employee fees
It does not include:
- Year-end form processing (e.g., W-2s, 1099s)
- Check printing and mailing
- Shipping or courier fees
- Setup fees or one-time projects
- Tax payments or third-party; reporting and payment services

You must maintain an active W-9. Commission based on gross recurring revenue collected. Payments made quarterly.
Rabco Payroll Services, Inc. reserves the right to update or modify the program. Rabco Payroll reserves the right to modify terms with notice. Terms and conditions apply.
Referrals begin once:
- The referred client has completed their first payroll
- Payment has been collected from the client
Payouts are made quarterly, based on collected (not invoiced) revenue.
No. As a CPA Partner, you can:
- Simply sign up the client and let Rabco work with your client on the rest
- Or remain involved by helping with implementation or ongoing advisory
You choose your level of involvement.
You are welcome to handle onboarding for free. In this case:
- Rabco provides import templates to make it easier
- You are responsible for entering employee data and historical payroll
If you’d prefer Rabco to implement the client, we offer this service for a one-time fee, quoted based on client complexity.
Yes — when signing up for the program, you must choose:
☐ Revenue Share (you receive quarterly payments)
☐ Client Discount (your client receives a matching discount)
This decision is made at the time of the initial accountant signup and is final for the duration of the agreement.
Yes. You’ll receive access to the Rabco Accountant Center, where you can:
- Submit referrals
- Track active clients
- View your current referral tier
- Access marketing and onboarding resources
- Single sign-on to access all your active client accounts
Revenue share ends if:
- The client terminates services
- Or becomes inactive for two consecutive quarters
Your overall tier is re-evaluated quarterly based on active referred clients.
